I have been a nutritional practitioner for over 25 years, but just like you, I faced some health challenges (mainly insulin resistance and adrenal dysfunction) that I was able to overcome.
For years, I struggled to find predictable success as a nutritional professional, and I noticed those I was working with rarely reversed their disease or came off medications. Despite compliance, they would eventually give up on what I told them, because they weren’t seeing weight loss or better energy.
Even though I was a dietitian and thought I knew tons about food, my own health was starting to deteriorate. I was plagued with constant canker sores, annoying bloating, feeling edgy, and sugar cravings. I thought about food all the time, and found it hard to maintain my weight, despite running most days, taking care of 3 little kids, and weight training.
In 2016, my middle son was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, a severe and chronic digestive disorder. Doctors blindly informed me that nutrition had no impact on his illness, and lifelong medications were the only solution. Refusing to accept this, I chose to uncover the root causes of chronic disease states and poor metabolic health.
What I discovered has forever changed the course of my professional career!
In recent years, I have taught my clients some of the oldest and most effective therapies known to man, transforming their lives. By focusing on correcting nutrition (including meal timing), establishing a strong circadian rhythm, and optimizing lighting environments, I have discovered that these fundamental keys to health can alleviate most stubborn weight and lifestyle issues.

The centralized system wants you to believe that poor health “just happens” and can be fixed with pharmaceuticals. While I do believe medications have their time and place, I left conventional medicine because I could no longer teach such flawed nutrition recommendations.
My Personal Struggles and Discoveries
Taking a hard look at my own lifestyle and metabolic health, I discovered I had insulin resistance after following poor nutritional recommendations for decades. A registered dietitian with insulin resistance! The thing is…. my blood sugar and cholesterol panel were always optimal and normal, and my weight was in the healthy range. However, insulin resistance had been brewing for years, causing my symptoms.
I implemented intermittent fasting and a low carb, whole food approach and everything changed! I started to prioritize protein, control carbs, and not fear fat. I went from grazing multiple times a day to only eating 2 meals most days.
I learned how to combine blood sugar stabilization with effective fasting protocols. This worked really well for a long time.However, after about 5 years of fasting through breakfast almost every morning, I found I had cortisol dysregulation. I changed up my intermittent fasting times, and focused on time restricted eating instead. With focus on quantum biology, a strong circadian rhythm and getting adequate sunlight, I was able to reverse adrenal dysfunction that had likely been going on for 20+ years in just a few short months.
Now, I want to shout from the rooftops what ACTUALLY optimizing hormones, metabolic health, and weight. I have developed resources and courses that go far beyond conventional methods.
It took decades for me to learn the truth about proper nutrition (despite traditional training), and how our environment is the biggest reflection of our health!
I wish I had known about these basic (and mostly FREE) concepts and truths years ago. However, I can only acknowledge that the food and medical systems are flawed, move forward with fresh knowledge, and teach these principles to as many people as possible.
If you are struggling with your weight or health, your body isn’t flawed, your environment is, and you simply need to change it. Nutrition is a HUGE part of health, but so is light, circadian rhythm, and healthy mitochondria.
My transformation from struggling with weight, cortisol dysregulation, and metabolic issues to feeling great in my late 40’s reinforced my belief in the strategies I teach my students.
