Joy
Joy teaches music full-time in Shana’s community at their high school, and is in front of audiences often. She is also the musical director, in addition to being a mom to 2 daughters.
Joy was experiencing a slow, but steady weight gain, and wasn’t feeling her best. She had worked with a personal trainer, which was helpful, but was not seeing the success she wanted. A serious car accident several years ago, coupled with the stresses of Covid was enough to make Joy realize the weight gain would continue unless something changed. In June of 2020, she read Fast To Heal, adopted the concepts, and never looked back.
In this episode, learn how Joy quickly turned her pattern of weight gain into weight loss. She talks about changing her family dynamic for her daughters and those to come. Joy talks about her intermittent fasting approach to maintain her health and weight, what has worked, what she is still working on, her biggest stressors, and what recommendations she has for others starting this lifestyle.
